We had a great time at Rodney Scout Reservation playing games, earning merit badges, and hanging out in nature during our yearly Summer camp trip.
Our troop had its yearly barbeque and June COA. The first ever Michael Chacon Memorial Scholarship was presented to graduating high school senior and Eagle Scout, Timothy Hantzchel.
Our troop had fun exploring Staten Island, the Statue of Liberty and other NYC fun.
After missing this parade for 2 years, we marched to the memorial at Commander Fred Amore Canon Park for a ceremony and wreath placement.
Our troop along with other troops went to Huntington Rural and St. Patrick’s cemeteries to plant flags on the graves of veterans. We went with VFW Post 1469.
Our troop went away for a weekend in order to have some fun rafting and had great weather!
Our troop went to a courthouse with our own ASM Mr. Bode, who is the Chief Assistant District Attorney. We learned a lot about the court system.
We had our new scout campout this year, had fun, and did lots of requirements.
The troop had a small St. Baldrick’s team this year but still had fun shaving our heads and raised $1,730!
The troop had another fun ski trip this year.
