The trail will soon begin to ascend Island
Pond Mountain. It is here where the trail
squeezes between large rocks at 2.3 miles.
This is commonly known as the Lemon
Squeezer to AT hikers.

Trexler Scout Reservation in the beautiful
Pocono Mountains, is the Northeast
Region's foremost Boy Scout Camp. In
1927, decorated war hero Harry C. Trexler
turned a tract of land in Monroe County
into a camp for the Boy Scouts of the
Lehigh County Council. The camp opened
in 1928 and during 2012 we will celebrate
our 84th Anniversary.

Onteora Scout Reservation is located in
